Mapping Freedom

The first ever digital humanities NSF-REU Mapping Freedom uses letters sent to and from the Governors of Mississippi in the civil war and reconstruction period. This Summer I am a part of the project and will be conducting research on these letters. My background in African American Studies put this project right up my alley. This website serves as a journal logging my progress and final results.
